Run Rules

  • Route: Race Route is on uneven trails through trees, fields and some pavement. Route will be marked with orange flagging in trees, orange arrows on the ground and cones with arrows on them. Mile markers will be displayed at each mile. You must stay within the trail marked boundaries at all times.
     

  • Children and Infants: All Children aged 3 and up must be registered for the race. All children under 10 must be accompanied by a race registered guardian or parent.
     

  • Strollers: Strollers are not allowed. These runs are considered trail runs. The terrain is uneven and will vary from farm to farm and may not be suitable for strollers. 
     

  • Walking: Walking is allowed on the run. All walkers must stay on the right side of the trail to allow runners to pass on their left.
     

  • Dogs and Pets: Dogs and pets are not allowed on the premises. Please leave them at home!
     

  • Finish Line: You may not re-enter the course once you have finished.
     

  • Pumpkins: You may pick up your pumpkin only at packet pickup. Once you pick it up please place it in your vehicle.
     

  • Terrain: This is a trail race. Farm paths may be gravel, dirt, or grass. They may also be hilly or provide other technical terrain challenges. 
     

  • Refund policy: If a refund is requested 14 or more days before the event date, ½ of the race fee ( No processing fees ) Within 2 weeks of event date no refunds or transfers will be allowed.
     

  • Cancellation of Event due to Weather Conditions: In the event of inclement weather the Host and Organizer will determine under what conditions the Event could be canceled. If the Event is canceled there will be NO REFUNDS issued to Participants or pre-purchased tickets. The Participants will be given the option to choose transfer to another Farm Run in which case they will not receive a ticket into the Farm. If they choose to not transfer to another race they will receive a ticket for admittance into the Farm Festival distributed by the Host on another date.  All presale tickets purchased for guests will be distributed by the Host for admittance on another date. This process will need to be determined by the Host.
     

  • Cut Off Time: This is a timed event. All participants must have finished race within 1-1/2 hours of start time.
     

  • Water Stations: There will be 1 water station on the route at approximately the 1.5-mile mark. There will be water available at the finish line.
     

  • First Aid: Capitol Medical will have a First Aid station near the finish line.
     

  • Packet Pickup: Packet Pickup will be on the Saturday, 4-6pm, before the event at the entrance to the Farm Gates. Please park in the parking lot and walk to the entrance. Packet Pickup will also be available on Race Day 7-8:30 am, at the entrance to the Farm Gates. Please park in the parking lot and walk to the entrance. You must have your photo ID with you in order to pick up your packet, a photo of your ID on your phone is acceptable. A Parent may pick up their children’s Packet. In order to pick up another non-family member participant’s packet, you must provide proof of their request.
     

  • Custom Bib and Timing: The Custom Bibs will have a timing chip affixed on the back. Do not bend or remove. Your race time and pace will be displayed on TV monitors mounted within the black timing trailer. To see all of the information of your run, simply type your bib number on the keypad and hit enter. You will see how you place overall, within your age group, pace and time.
     

  • Awards: Awards for the 5k will be to the top 3 male and females in each age group. Age groups are as follows, 0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70+. Award Ceremony will take place approximately at 10:15am – 10:30am.
     

  • Discounted Tickets: In order to take advantage of discounted tickets for friends and family, please buy them online when you signup. Tickets purchased on the day before or on race day may or may not be discounted at the discretion of the Farm
